But it is a lot of work, and how well does it work?
I don't like the carbon being on the sides, it means that if the carbon isn't completely full the fumes go around it. would prefer carbon to be horizontal.
You can see the little squirrel in there. Or maybe just the squirrel cage blower.
I assumed I would do a dog's breakfast of a job cutting a circle, but I was able to use the blower hole as a template.
I started with three holes to thread the wire through. That seemed like enough, and I wanted less wire on the outside so that the vent hose would still fit.
Well, if you go in and out of three holes you end up with the ends of the wire on the outside, were they will interfere even more! So a fourth hole, and a totally non-symmetrical finish.
So how does it work? I am not sure. A lot of smell comes out when you open the lid, but not as much while cutting.
