I saw a design for a holder for coffee pods, and I bought the design off of Etsy (their store is apparently now 'taking a break', so no link).
It was a simple piece with four 'slots' for coffee pods.
I expanded on the design. I made the slots longer and added a slot, added a shelf to hold boxes of pods, added holes for screws (the original suggested using double sided tape to mount), and made little spacers to move the holder out a bit from the wall.
I am not sure why I didn't think to use finger joints on the shelf and shelf brackets. That would have helped with alignment!
